Data Storage

The data shared between the client and the counsellor will be stored in an encrypted vault for seven years before being destroyed completely from the date the last session.

Data Sharing

Data sharing will only happen under four conditions:

Client present the signs of harming self or others.
Court order
Signed approval from the client to share data to another party
Client who needs someone to take over the attorney due to inability to make a decision

Confidentiality

The law protects the confidentiality of the issues discussed between the counsellor and the client. Confidentiality is being taken seriously and discussing or releasing client’s information to any individual, agency or corporate can only be done when requested by the client through a signed authorization form.

Complete Confidentiality

MY Safe Space takes complete confidentiality as part of an important practice in ethics and professionalism hence with or without shadowing, MY Safe Space do not reveal testimonials and do not encourage reviews whether on social media, written or Google Review as part of the practice.

Harassment & Liability

MY Safe Space takes harassment as a serious matter. Actions such as sending spam messages, spam calls, defamation on social media, stalking virtually or physically shall be reported to authority without tolerance. These actions are considered harm towards others hence confidentiality is terminated immediately.
