A Little Peeps About Me

Carol’s educational journey includes a Master in Clinical Psychology from the University Science Malaysia (USM) and the Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), where she gained a comprehensive understanding of psychological theories, assessment techniques, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. This academic foundation has equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in a clinical setting.

Over the past two years, she has accumulated valuable experiences in the field through various roles, including internships and positions at renowned mental health facilities such as private psychological centers, government hospitals and universities. Prior to that, Carol also had several experiences working with special needs children (e.g. ADHD, Autism, and learning disabilities) in private learning and special education center. These experiences have allowed her to develop proficiency in conducting psychological assessments, formulating treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs.

She is particularly skilled in Child and Adult Psychological Assessment and Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). She has also been involved in hypnosis training and apply relaxation techniques to help clients cope better with anxiety, depression, stress, and pain. Besides, she adept at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and effective treatment outcomes. What sets her apart as a clinical psychologist is her empathetic and compassionate approach. She firmly believes the saying “There is a solution to every problem”; by establishing a strong therapeutic alliance with clients, building trust and rapport to foster their personal growth and well-being.
